After a growth phase of several weeks the finished crystal leaves our crystal growth hall and moves next door: to our optical workshops. Here the crystal is cut, polished and – as shown in Phase 2 – checked and tested for quality and suitability, before being sent for processing.
Some of the raw material is used to produce standard windows and lenses, but our products can be adapted to an almost infinite number of shapes and uses. Our workshops can cut and polish crystals into almost any geometric shape. For this work we have the most precise cutting and polishing machines operated by highly trained and experienced staff. When working with crystal it is essential to always consider its unique properties, such as its hardness grade and orientation.
Finally we move on to the last and most demanding stage: the final polish in our Polishing Workshop.
