Acquisition of new ground and buildings in neighbourhood. Expansion of crystal growth part into new building; separation of growth and optical finishing. Growth of first big BaF2 crystals of 150 mm diameter. Investment into further smaller and medium sized furnaces for BaF2 projects (scintillators). Investment into new machinery for processing big crystals of BaF2, CaF2 and others.

Investments to develope the growing process of fluoride crystals like BaF2, MgF2, CaF2, NaF, Lif also improvements by participation at several EU projects. Moreover investments in machines, which are used for processing crystalline materials and also in measurement equipment to characterize the quality of crystals and optical surfaces.
